Asian Genetic Epidemiology Network (AGEN)
The Asian Genetic Epidemiology Network is a consortium of genetic epidemiology studies of cardiovascular disease related phenotypes conducted among Asian populations.
Our purpose is to:
1. Facilitate replication among studies with similar phenotypes.
2. Conduct data-pooling and meta-analysis of GWAS to increase statistical power for discovery of novel genetic
loci for CVD-related traits in Asian populations.
3. Follow-up discoveries of novel loci with additional genotyping.
